It’s conveniently located near great restaurants and key attractions in South Africa. the room I booked was well-furnished and impeccably clean, featuring excellent A/C and twin beds. the staff, from security to reception, were friendly and helpful. Plus, the restaurant served delicious food!

The City Lodge Newtown in Johannesburg is clean, and the location is convenient - being close to the nearby station. The chef at the hotel prepares gourmet burgers that are out of this world, and the ribs are melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The chicken pizza is also a real bargain - with a thick topping full of chicken and cheese. Special thanks to the barman - Jacob - for his excellent service, and the manager - Bongani.

I booked it many times and would recommend it. I really enjoyed this well-maintained hotel after staying for 2 nights. It had a marvelous location near the station. the service was exceptional, and there were plenty of options for food.

I chose this hotel for attending a business forum because it provides a secure electronic safe that was large enough to accommodate my laptop. It gave me peace of mind knowing that my valuables were protected during my stay. The staff were friendly and the location was convenient, making my business trip a comfortable and efficient experience.

The only service that I missed for my work was a dedicated business center or office space where I could set up my laptop and work in a quiet and professional environment. This would have been beneficial for any last-minute preparations or important tasks that required focused attention.
